The Lakeshore District serves the Scouting program in Sheboygan, Manitowoc, and Calumet counties excepting the Appleton area. It is part of the Bay-Lakes Council of the Boy Scouts of America that serves 22 counties in Northeast Wisconsin.
The purpose of the Lakeshore District is to work through chartered partners and community groups to organize and support succesful units. The end result of effective district support is more and more youth members receiving a better and better program.
